Brie and Prosciutto Burger w/ Garlic Fries.. Quite Delicious!!! Quite Tasty!!!
I am a local San Diegan who likes to eat epic food and imbibe in awesome liquid refreshments as well. Eventually I hope to start reviewing restaurants and the food I enjoy to inform my friends, family and the general population that there are in fact good "Foodie" places in San Diego County.

Turkey Chili... Three Days of AWESOMENESS!!!
So one hot day I got a crazy idea to make turkey chili...from scratch..
Firstly, I must thank my mom who showed me how to make a turkey (and ALL the fixings) since well, I don't know, well before I learned to walk!!!
This is going to be the 1st part of a three part adventure!!
Day One: Cook Turkey
Day Two: De-bone Turkey and make chili.
Day Three: FEAST!!!
Turkey all dressed up for the big show!!! See you in 3 hours buddy!!!
Out of the oven... Just waiting for him to cool down, then I will begin the de-boning process, tomorrow..
Green Bell Peppers and Onions Added...
Getting happy with Garlic, Chipotle Peppers and Red Pepper Flakes
Even happier with Kidney Beans, Tomatoes, Chicken Stock and more Chipolte Peppers!!
Added the Turkey, simmering for an hour or so..
Finished Product.. Hot as HELL...
My friends that are coming over tomorrow and I might be going to eat instead... Stay Posted for the adventure!
Finished product Turkey Chili Nachos!!! Delicious, slightly hotter than I normally like, but still quite tasty!!!!

Breakfast at my house--Happy Monday
Nothing says comfort food (for breakfast at least) like a Homemade Egg Sandwich with Bacon.. It's the easiest thing in the world to make and yet the a good portion of the American population shell out $5 for a Egg McMuffin (guilty as well).. Well this morning I decided to make my own, here are the results:

Visit to Urbn and Heaven Sent Desserts
Last night I went to URBN Coal Fired Pizza and Bar (http://urbnnorthpark.com/) before attending FilmOut's screening of Bite Marks.
Located in the heart of North Park, URBN Coal Fired Pizza/Bar is a 5,000 square foot warehouse on the corner 31st and University. Everything about this place from the layout to the food and drinks is AWESOME!! The decorating components look like they are all reused/recycled items.
The Bar well stocked and UBER-COOL!!!
The Ceiling fan looks like a Giant Airplane Propeller!!
Just an example of the seating!!! Very comfortable and retro as well!
A "pitcher" of beer @ URBN.. Happy Hour Special; when you buy the pitcher you get a free small pizza!
The sides for the pizzas. Left to Right: Shredded Cheese, Red Pepper Flakes, Oregano, Cracked Black Pepper and Coarse Sea Salt.
Small Pizza; Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Garlic and Artichoke Hearts (other half of Happy Hour Special)
Pepperoni, Red Onions and Sausage Pizza

August 2011 QUAFF Meeting
So in case any of you haven't been to Randy Jones All American Grill (formerly Trophy's) in Hazard Center, I strongly advise you check them out.
.
Here's the link to their website:
RJAAG, is a cool little sports bar, (tap list here: http://aagrill.com/menus/RJAASG_beer-wine.pdf) with a pretty decent layout and huge bar area. They also have a expansive dining room and comfortable eating area.
My main visit tonight to Randy Jones All American Grill was because my homebrew club QUAFF has their monthly meetings outside on the "Trolley Terrace" overlooking the trolley line and Hazard Center Drive.
My Appetizer: Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese w/ Bacon.
This was SIMPLY AMAZING, the pasta was cooked through PERFECTLY, and the smoked bacon complemented the cheeses used in the dish as well!! DELICIOUS!!!
Aztec Burger: Smoked Mozzarella, Avocado, Tomato Salsa, w/ Spicy Aioli.
Normally this burger comes with regular fries, but I had to go with the Sweet Potato fries as they are equally delicious!! The Aioli brought out the saltiness in the sweet potato fries and the smokiness of the mozzarella!
Yogurtland Fro-Yo for dessert (yes that is a Hello Kitty Spoon).
After eating all that delicious food and drinking all that tasty homebrew, I had to go to Yogurtland located in the same shopping center as RJAAG.. Their tart frozen yogurt are simply amazing by themselves, but I had to add Mochi and Lychee fruit to mine.
