I recently took my dad out for his birthday to Bruski Burgers & Beer located in Mira Mesa at:

9844 Hibert Street, Suite G-10.  They have an extensive local craft beer list featuring all the usual heavy hitters in SD County plus a few hidden gems as well.. Definitely worth checking out.
